I hear people say get married and have children so that you won't be alone when you get old. There is no guarantee that your children are going to care for you when you get old, they might very well put you in a nursing home. Because by then, they are going to have their own families and careers to worry about.
I know, because that's what happened to my grandmother. She was devastated when they did that to her.
I don't know if its better to get married and have children. I'm in my early 40's and I still have no inclination to get married and have children, but that's just me.
I love my stress free, drama free life. I get to do what I want, and not have to worry about children or a husband.

I though about that being single. But the more longer I stay single I will missed out with someone to share with... I met my wife and wow, I remember told her that I didn't want kids and we got married and My daughter was born march 2003 and I was happy but same time I was scared to have baby.. baby born and I hold my daughter wow it change my life and 15 months later my son born..now 3rd due in march 2007... If I stay single I wouldn't have this chance to have this. I am glad I got married to be with someone for a long long long long time.

Get married and have kids. Finding someone to share your ups and downs with, and some one to talk to after a long day is great.
Kids can cause some problem, when they don't listen but in the long run are the best thing that can happen to a person. Taken care of a little one and watching them grow and helping them to learn, there nothing to compare with that joy.

Not many people want to stay single their entire life..if your 40, i'd say get married and have kids..if your 20 stay single..or stay single until u find the best person ever..theres a lot of creepo's out there..

It is better to get married and have children. Being single you have to worry about a lot of things including the other persons honesty and safe sex.
When you are married, you are with (hopefully) your life partner and all the petty stuff just falls aside. Having children most often strengthens the love that you share.

It really just depends on you and what you want from life. We can't tell you, becuase we each have our own situations and sometimes unexpected things happen. I believe that thing shappen for a reason and there are people who choose to be single becuase they have priorities and want a successful future as an independent person. Others believe that raising a family is what they were put on earth to do. Either path you choose, you leave your mark on the earth and you better your future...
Decide whats best in your situation and what you can really achieve. Shoot for the moon, even if you miss you'll land among the stars!

I totally agree with getting married and NOT having kids. I believe that the divorce rate is so high now a days because the parents fight over how much to spoil the kids.

Being single is ok, for people like me who gave up on love. But people who want to find love should get married only if they want to. Staying single forever is not good because who is going to be by your side when you get old.

I wish I never would have got married, bc I'm divorced now. I think ppl that say get married and have a monster truck load of kids just want you to be miserable too.
