I certainly hope so. Growing up in the 70s, I remember people talking about my generation living on the moon and that hasn't happened yet (curses!). It may take another generation or two for it to happen. Fortunately, private industry is starting to get involved in the conquest of space and that's great because the government has lost its initial momentum after the moon missions. They got stuck on the space shuttle program; which did show we could re-use vehicles but it is essentially an expensive space "truck". I may not live to see it, but every time I'm out looking at the moon, I can imagine the lights of cities shining back at me. That will be cool.
