Hi, one letter is wrong on my drivers license. All the info on my credit cards is correct. I need to rent a car this weekend and I am worried that they may not let me because they don't match. I can't get this corrected in time either. You thoughts?

Hope they don't notice or care, but carry lots of ID (bank statements, insurance details, passport) that might encourage them to let you through anyway.

Well, You will not have any problems, that is for sure. I have had the same same error in the past. In my drivers license had a letter extra, but I explain to them, also can help you if you bring with ya in case, ss# or birth certificate or other form of ID with pic. or matching proof that you are the same person. they maybe ask you about it. but I don't think you will have any problems. Recommendation. update your Driver license with the correct information.

Good luck!!!

They will probably let you rent the car but you really should take your license back to the DMV and get the typo corrected.

Call DMV. They should get you in. I had the same problem in Florida. I called and they had me come in the next day. They put me in the front of the line.

they probably wont even notice, and if they do, no big deal. Throw the biggest ***** fit of your life, they will be so embarrassed they will have to let you rent one just to shut you up!

With any luck , they won't notice. Wait until they are really busy,
and then go into the store.....and don't be nervous

they probably won't notice. if they do, all you have to do is sigh heavily and say "the dmv screwed it up".

they'll look at you, nod their heads in sympathy, and let it slide
