White heads are blemishes that are pimples. They usually plague people who have oily skin, but I get them sometimes and my skin is not oily. The best way to deal with these things are keeping your skin clean, and not popping them. Try a really good face scrub like neutrogena or St. Ives peach scrub. If you have them really bad, Proactiv will work miracles.

keep your skin exfoliated, make sure you use an oil free moisturizer.
