I know my answer might sound childish in a way... but my gramma who is a full blood Indian told me that DeJaVue is somewhat of a vision. That when you feel that you have been somewhere or seen something before.... It is your soul telling you that you are on the right path. I get dejavue alot, and have had several visions that I believe come from my origins. So far, all of my life, those visions & feelings have come true. Down to the very last detail. Its kinda spooky, and sometimes very emotional. But I trust my instincts now and believe in myself more. Good luck. Good question!

Déjà vu is considered a common phenomenon. Surveys show that about one third of the population has had the most common form of déjà vu sensations. Due to the subjective and often indescribable nature of the associated feelings, it has been difficult, to determine who is actually experiencing déjà vu. In general, however, déjà vu is "any number of hard-to-explain sometimes upsetting occurrences of unexpected recognition, in which the person involved has trouble identifying an antecedent for the events and/or places which seem so strangely and intensely familiar ." Déjà vu has been defined as "familiarity without awareness ." While the situational cues of a déjà vu are familiar, there is a definite lack of awareness about the specific source of the memory.

There are several possible explanations for what is occurring during a déjà vu experience. One possibility is simply the occasional mismatch made by the brain in its continuous attempt to create whole sensical pictures out of very small pieces of information. Looking at memory as a hologram, only bits of sensory information are needed for the brain to reconstruct entire three-dimensional images. When the brain receives a small sensory input (a sight, a smell, a sound) that is strikingly similar to such a detail experienced in the past, the entire memory image is brought forward. The brain has taken the past to be the present by virtue of one tiny bit of sensory information. It is this mismatch of past and present sensory information that causes the sense of disconcertment and unease associated with a passing déjà vu. This theory provides a satisfactory explanation for the physical effects of déjà vu. These appear to be similar to the effects of mismatch between sensory input and corollary discharge signal information to the brain. It does not, however, seem to provide sufficient answers to individual (even my own) accounts of déjà vu, where the memory image pulled up is not necessarily from a true past event.

Deja Vu - is not a feeling or precognition of being in the right track - but it's a way of your soul letting you know that you are not going in the right direction.
If you get to pay attention everytime you feel "Deja Vu" and pay attention of what is going on in your life - you will realize that something is out of sync- or something you are doing with your life is not right.
By paying close attention to these moments - depending on how much you trust your instincts as well - you can be able to avoid mistakes that are not necessary in your life path.

There's no truth about Déjà vu. But research has been done in this area

"according to scientists in these fields, déjà vu is not an act of "precognition" or "prophecy" but is actually an anomaly of memory; it is the impression that an experience is "being recalled" which is false"

i read in a book where they believe its a dream you rememeber.
you drempt that experience.. but had forgotten it until that very second.

my thought was...that when time pauses, it continues without you in another dimension.. then when it unpauses.. and you catch up to that other dimension.. and at the split moment that you have cought up with it.. you remember.

weird.. espeically with time pauses.. but is cool .. heh..

what about the famous quote .. "If we Can see the Future.. then It must Already Exist ?"

Some theorize that there are several parallel timelines with ours that differ very slightly. De Ja Vu is when you sense your existence in a timeline very close to ours.

I love answering this question. De Javou means that your supposed to be there. I believe that we chart out our lives before we are born to this world. De Javou is when you are lining up with your chart and letting you kow that your supposed to be there at this time. It lets you know that your right on track.
