The memories that remain when the experience is over....During the actual experience you could feel hurt, pain, suffering, and maybe like you are going to die. But after the experience is over, it is the determination to live through the experience that makes the person. Then you know who you really are. So after the experience, you look back and you think...."I am stronger, I can live more, I can breath more, and Nothing will take my inner strength away".....The memories that remain when the experience is over tells you, "You are a fighter and you can live through anything." ........Now if the experience is good...then the memories that remain will be held deep in your heart. They give you joy when you suddenly think of them. They give you hope when you need the hope.... So it is not the experience but the memories of the experience that make you who you are.

that's kind of a loaded question, because you wouldn't have the memories without the experience, but you wouldn't get anything from the experience without the memories. But, I would say the memories because without those the experience just flew by and you learned nothing.

Life experience isn't worth anything if you don't remember them (known as memory) and memories are made up of life experiences. You can't have one without the other.

Well...after the experiences are long over, even if they're good or bad.....all we're left with is the memories....which I think are far more important.

The memories that remain. Well, I think both. Sometimes, it's the memories of things that hurt me(ex. boyfriend cheating, etc) and you think of those things and out of the blue gets hurt.
