Very vague term 'the darkies'. Who is inclued in that classification I don't know. You said the white race created civilization, I think you seriously need to study history and archeology. Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, China, Persia hardly can be called white.
Your point of the White race has the best thinkers and achievers, is just laughable. The oldest literature in the world are the Vedas dating back to 1200 BCE, the Vedas are the literature on which the main philosophy of Hinduism is based. Zoroaster founded a peaceful. monotheistic, ethically centered culture in 600 BCE in Persia. Just to name a few thinkers from the east, Confucius, Gautam Buddah who founded Buddhism, Lao Tzu.
The numeral 0 without which modern mathematics was impossible was invented in India and tought to the west by the Arabs. The Ayurveda system of medicine was developed in Indian around 500 BCE and surprisingly is still in use today! Perfumery was invented by the Arabs hundreds of years before its invention in Europe. Soap was in use in the Islamic world much before Europe. Fine dining was a gift of the Arab world.
There were universities and a welfare state in India during the reign of Emperor Ashoka in 270-230 BCE. These are well documented facts.

The Chinese were probably the smartest of all races, most things anyone else thinks they invented in the last 2000 years the Chinese were doing it a 1000 years before that. Outside of the technologies of the last 100 years. They had done a lot of amazing things while the rest of us were still up in the trees. It's possible a lot of things credited to whites were copied from Chinese people, but somethings like gun powder we just found other uses for. The Egyptians weren't black nor did they use slaves to build the pyramids. The Egyptians would tend their crops during growing season then build during the rest of the year. Archeology hasn't found anything in Africa that the blacks built, they have found some structures from the Chinese and Indians (India) from like 3000BC when they came there but nothing else. Whites seem to be able to do anything they put their minds too. Art, Architecture, philosophy, Classical music, astronomy. As well as go to the moon , to the bottom of the ocean and deep underground. Soon to other star systems and colonize planets, imagine it and it can happen.

How about the elevator, look at the name of the elevator company everytim you ride one the very first was by a black man named Elisha Otis, 1853 the company is still in business. How about Dr James West, ever hear of a microphone? how about Sara Boone, ever use an ironing board? maybe you've heard of Otis Boykin, there would be no computers without that electrical resistor that he invented, surely you've seen the big mechanical street sweeper, Charles Brooks, another black man. Everyone knows that George Washington Carver invented peanut butter but I'm sure that you didn't know that he also invented the first adhesives, bleach, ink, instant coffee, linoleum, mayonnaise, paper, plastic, shaving cream, talcum powder, shoe polish, pavement, wood stain and much more. Ever hear of a spectrograph? George Carruthers. John B Christian invented the lubricant used by NASA and other high flying aircraft. David Crosthwait hold 39 patents for heating systems and temperature regulating devices. Mark Dean co-invented the improvements in computer architecture that allow IBM compatible PC's to use the same peripheral devices. the first blood bank was developed by Dr Charles Richard Drew. Philip Emeagwali won the Gordon Bell Prize for developing the fastest super computer software in the world in 1989. Thomas Jennings developed the first dry cleaning system and made just enough money to buy his family out of slavery. Did you ever play with a super soaker? a black man named Lonnie Johnson invented it as well as thermodynamic systems. Guess what color the man was who invented the first automatic refridgeration system for long haul trucks so your pig feet would be fresh when you got them? yup a black man named Frederick Jones. All those white girls with perms owe their curls to Marjorie Stewart Joyner a black woman. Although Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, you wouldn't be able to screw it in without the inventioin of Lewis Howard Latimer. You know that little pencil sharpener that you keep in your schoolbag? John Lee Love invented it. Garrett Morgan, the gas mask and automatic traffic signals. The list can go on and on.
So, what have you contributed to society?

IS it a fact? You have made an assumption here with no evidence to support your sweeping statement?
Now, you really do not have to "think" or ponder about what cultures have contibuted to mankind's knowledge, just take a look at this site and I'm sure you will be suitably informed. Then you will be able to re-evaluate your question in the light of some true historical fact.

...and indeed, your reference to "the darkies" reveals a great deal about your background, personal attitude, and level of education..
I sincerely hope you have a modicum of grey matter to understand the aforementioned text.

What about the Egyptians - were they white? - or the Chinese who invented a great deal such as fireworks, iron casting, silk and the earthquake weathercock amongst others. Oh, and I think we all emerged from Africa at one time in the past ....
Without prejudice, why don't you set yours aside and starting reading and finding out more about the world you live in. It is no point calling others "darkies" and slurring what they have achieved, then whinging that you will report any personal attacks. If you regard my latter point as personal, go on report me and make my day.
In the meantime why don't you investigate

I'm sure there have been a few minor achievements but can't think of any. true there have been a lot of sport stars like tyson but throwing a punch and eating a ear is not a great achievement. when ever they have done well it has been with our help.
when asked this question why do they only ever point to achievements 1000s of years ago.

What does it really matter...? I think your question might prove inflamatory to most who view it but, understanding the depths of where it originates from, compells a response...
If the question derives from 'hate'...one would do well for themselves to conquer such a negative emotion for it has been said that, "in hating...that hate will destroy your-self..."
Racism is akin to Nationalism, it is extreme, detrimental and of very small mindedness...it is often the source from where the individual sinks into a cataclysm of self-distruction and defeat; the complete opposit of intent...
Biased thoughts and feelings seem natural to our human existance...most people have 'preferences'...likes and dislikes...one would do well for themselves not to embrace that which, adds little or nothing in their pursuit of happiness.
You may be right in your observation according to what accomplishments have been celebrated by the masses but, you may do well for your-self to not be so focused upon 'what' or 'what not' has been done by whom...and concentrate more upon 'how' you may help, in your own way, to do something which, benefits the world we all must share. In doing so...you benefit your-self as well...

And Im sure you can't live without your cell phone just like the rest of the world. Another "darkie" invented it, Henry Sampson in 1971.
