Of course it is normal...especially if it is your first! I can guarantee you will feel all the joys (and pains) of pregnancy soon enough. I bet you will feel those first movements by the time you are 20 weeks or so...and then the legs cramps at night, water retention, etc..... Good luck

Yes it is normal. I just had my first 4 months ago. It didnt feel like I was pregnant until the first time I felt my son kick. Then is when I felt like I was. But to me, I wanted a baby and I got to the point I never thought it was going to happen so when it did I didnt think it was real. Trust me the time will come when you felt like you are pregnant and when it does you will love it. Congrates and Good Luck!

iam 18 weeks and i dont feel pregnant, and i have a belly and everything.
For the most part i just feel normal, except when i wake up and my stomach is stretchy and sore, or my boobs hurt.
I think its perfectly fine. He probably looked at you funny because one, he's a man and what the hell does he know about pregnancy, and two, its not common to feel normal during pregnancy.
Most first time moms are sick and in a panic over their chaning bodies.

With my four year old, I didn't feel pregnant until I looked it, which was about six months into the pregnancy. I wore a size five until I was almost six months along. Trust me, you will start to feel pregnant. Unless you're suffering from morning sickness, you usually won't "feel" pregnant until the baby starts moving.

It's normal...you doctor is male. Regardless of what he reads and learns, he has never experienced pregnancy! My son is just five months old and the pregnancy is still fresh in my mind. I didn't "feel" pregnant until I actually felt him start moving around! Just count ourselves as fortunate that we didn't endure the weeks/months of mornings sickness that others have. Congrats!

Give it about 2 to 4 more weeks and you should feel the baby move more. It's likely to feel like fluttering at first until the baby gets bigger. Is your doctor male or female? I prefer a female doctor because they can relate to your specific issues better.

Yes, totally normal. I didn't feel pg until I started to feel the baby move regularly. Before that I just felt sick, tired and fat, like I had a virus or something.

Very normal. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I didn't feel pregnant until about the 6th month. Don't worry about your dr sometimes they can be very insensitive.

You should get a book on pregnancy, you have an awful lot of questions. It is common not to feel pregnant this early.
