You are correct inasmuch as hypocrisy is the order of the day in this country at the moment. Cry when 50,000 dogs are killed, but indifferent when Israel kill 1500 innocent civilians. Our priorities are very skewed and I am ashamed sometimes to read what what I read here sometimes.

I don't know where you are man, but could you maybe your country should teach you guys how to form a single thought.
Maybe the majority of Americans don't give a damn about dogs death (especially if it is a legitimate reason, in fact we kill dogs that aren't adopted by a certain time). Maybe there was a small minority of Americans that were outraged like an animal protection group like PETA that was outraged.
I don't think horse meat is a delicacy in America, though I do hear that in the Far East dogs, cats and horses are consumed.
Also, I believe we have in place an animals watch list and whales are on the "threatened" statuse and there has beenmany reforms in order to bring their population numbers up.

People in the U.S. don't eat horses just so you know.
We kill deer, sheep, pigs and cows for food. I didn't know everyone in the Far East was a vegitearian? Did the people in China kill the dogs and then eat them???
You may want to ask yourself this. Why is China so dirty that they have to kill dogs because they have rabies?
WildAid is a non-profit organization headquartered in San Francisco with offices in China, India, Vladivostok, Cambodia, Thailand, Galapagos, Quito, London, Washington, D.C., and New York City. They commit themselves to the protection to endagered species. I don't think that killing whales in the United States was a sport... But if you have proof to back that up by all means let me know.
Japanese kidney patients travelled to Taiwan and Singapore to purchase organs obtained without consent from executed prisoners.
How come in Baghdad women and Children are being murdered in the street...
A German was sent to prison for the slaughter of Armin Meiwes, the German cannibal jailed for killing a man and feeding on his flesh. (This happened May of 2006)
Sweden is probably one of the worst, if not the worst, country in the Western world when it comes to Political Correctness.
China and India, with Pakistan, Bangladesh, Taiwan, South Korea and Indonesia, account for 3 billion of Earth’s 6.5 billion people. In these countries, gender-selective abortion, unequal treatment of children, inferior social status and poor sanitary conditions all contribute to a high death rate among female children and adults.
Here are just a few examples of how bad the rest of the world is. If anyone is a hyprocrite it is you.
P.S. Harry Potter is gay!

I think you are confusing the actions of some of the 300 MILLION PEOPLE here with the actions of ALL of us. If you've never heard an american talk about whales or any other endangered species, you aren't listening very hard.
I'm sure I could easily start generalizing and stereotyping the people where you come from, but I won't. Thank you for the ill wishes though, much appreciated.

yes we do consider dogs as something special just because we have had them as pets for as long as we have been here.
We do despise whale hunting along with alot of other cruelty to animals. Some think China might have gotten people to vaccinate their dogs against rabies, rather than kill them all.

Not all of us cared that China wacked a few dogs. We have a group here called PETA, these guys are nuts as far as animals go. Because they are nuts, they get a lot of press and chances are these are the idgits you heard getting upset over the killing of rabid dogs.
And we as a nation have always condemned the illegal killing of whales. However looking at the biasedness of your question, I have a feeling you looked over the our conservation efforts as a nation.

You're an idiot. Does it not count at all to you that dogs are our friends? I've seen this argument many times from foreigners (many of whom are responsible for the mind-numbing cruelty in our slaughterhouses, because of their idiotic religious mandates--or in the case of white Europeans, because of their pussified worship of people who want kosher slaughter), and have to ask: Is your problem that animals are hurt in this country, or is your problem that Americans love dogs? It seems to be the latter.

Wow. What an important issue.
Honestly, I never even heard about this, so as an American I can tell you I was not pissed at China for killing Rabid Dogs.

I don't like being called a "hypocrite" or "loser", I'm going straight out to get bitten by a pack of dogs. Calling yourself Harry Potter is pretty juvenile kid.

I live in the US, and I don't appreciate the derogatory tone you are using. Granted, I very much agree w/ your point, and have more evidence to back up the American hypocrisy, however I won't say them b/c I'm not going to reply to someone who starts a conversation with anger, malice, and hateful words.
How about next time you act peacefully? I will gladly back you up then.
