Hey i'm gonna move to los angeles, do you know a good neighborhood to live in, with "lower" home/apartment prices, not as much pollution(i have a son)and traffic as "the real los angeles" and nice people, but still near enough to drive to L.A. for work?

Los Feliz is a nice area. But if you can afford it I'd move to West Hollywood, Santa Monica or the Silverlake area.
