my screen is telling me that it is out of range how do i fix it?

Change the refresh rate in the display settings.

Start - Settings - Control Panel
Display Icon, Click the Settings Tab.
You may have to click the Advanced Button, and look through the resulting tabs for the REfresh Rate. Change this Higher or lower for a better picture.
