I am 24 yrs old and still don't know what career I would like. I have mainly done office work which doesn't excite me but feel I would like to do something that also benefits others. Any suggestions? Does anyone else feel the same?

Lots of people feel the same way, but it's a terribly general question. Maybe you could build houses woth Habitat for Humanity? Join the Peace Corps? Become a social worker or a lawyer who helps the disadvantaged? A teacher? A doctor or nurse? A benevolent taxi driver?

I felt the same way out of college and being unemployed for almost 3 years. My advice to you: The next big career demand will be in health care, for nurses, technicians and other support staff. And the natural sciences like environmentalism and climatology.

Yup, go to the local community college, take some interests tests and then take some classes.

If you do what you always done, you will get what you always got! Go out there and do something different. You are young, get started now.

You can try working in the Hospitality or Tourism industry where you get to meet people daily and deal with them directly haha. And there's always volunteer work

Find a job that you would do for free, or even pay someone to let you do. Then go for it. You will never be sorry...
