You have to press *67 and then the number (*675105551212 for example). When calling a home phone they might have private calls blocked though so it wont matter.

There should be an option in your cell phone that says something like "Send own number". If you answer that no, your number will not come up on caller id when you call someone.

yes depending on the provider you can either block it through them, or usually the phone has a caller id feature so you can block and unblock your number from your phone..both my cell phones have that feature

yeah, i think if you go to settings and under "network" you can see various options there and you can click something that tells you if you want to hide your number. you don't have to *67 or anything like that.
