what do you think of this poem?!
The sorrow I'm feeling
brings horrors unyielding
scars don't pause in their cause to cause tears and pain
years of shame have brought me
to this sordid taste of possible redemption
more sour than i imagined it to be
it used to be that truth perceived itself
to have wealth in knowledge
but now i am fully cognizant of the fact
that truth is no longer fact in itself
its distasteful presence presents this sour taste
which i spit to the ground
i have dug as my grave
to be buried among many whose potentials have varied
from stardom
to college
to basketball
and after all
have failed in the process
whether wasted talent or change in balance
whatever the direction was taken
i endeavor on a mission statement--
to rescind the truth
to rekindle youth
and seek lies
because lies tell me what i want to hear
instead of what i need to hear
they are much sweeter than the truth

That poem is so good and touching it makes you wanna cry. It has alot of very deep thoughts that people can relate to.Did you write this poem if you this its really good?

Not bad, its pretty deep, lies are never sweeter than the truth, though, although the truth may hurt in the here and now, in the long run, lies hurt so much more.........
