I really want to know this I would say the PS2 is better.

I thought it was. I've had a PS2 since it's launch, and it was outstanding, especially if you like RPGs. Also, being backwards compatible was a big plus.
However, I've changed my mind. I got an Xbox about 2 years ago, and it's got some big advantages. The built in hard-drive & online play are big. Not to mention, the smaller version of the controllers. The original ones were huge, and I hated them...
Also, being able to play the Star Wars KOTOR & Halo franchises sold me on it. Now I've got the 360, and it's even better than the original...

NO! XBOX graphics are better although the PS2 has some good games.

ps2 has a wide variety of games. in terms of power, xbox beats it. but with the ps2 you have games and loads of replay value.

Depends on the game type you like. Sports, it's definately XBOX. XBOX also has HALO.
PS2 is better for random *** games.

there both the same in a kind of way its just what model you like the best like Sony or Microsoft i personally like the xbox
