1. No.
2. Don't think so.
3. Yes, but there isn't much to be colored. Mainly black and white.
4. I have the Shuffle. I dont see the need to spend $100 more on the same thing only with a screen.
5. Shuffle, cheap small, and easy to use.

1. No.

2. Not that I know of, but maybe.

3. Minis are no longer available in stores, you have to order them directly from Apple online, due to the fact that they're not making them anymore.

4. I have a black iPod nano, 2GB, which holds 500 songs. They can hold more than that depending on the model, and the price goes up accordingly.

5. I would suggest A: a nano, which is great because it is very small and portable, but with good picture quality on the screen. You can also store pictures on it and have album pictures for your songs. Or B: an iPod Video, which is bigger than the nano but can also play music videos and such. The Video is more expensive but defintely worth the money, whereas nanos go for a little less but don't have the video capabilities.

I do not suggest getting a Mini. They are outdated, tend to be tempermental, and the screen quality is bad. I'm pretty sure they are coming out with colored nanos and videos but if you get plain black or white you can get different cases, skins, etc.

You can always delete songs and add new songs to your iPod through the iTunes library, so storage space should not be an issue.

As far as other mp3 players go, stick with iPods, since they have the best sound quality and overall quality, plus they have the best features and are very easy to use!

You can transfer all your existing music from whatever media player you are using now to your iTunes library. It'll actually do it for you when you first install iTunes!

1.) iPod Mini's do not play videos.
2.) iPods do not have a voice record feature, but you can buy an add on to do that.
3.) Mini's come in black and white. Nano's come in color.
4.) I have a 6 GB Silver Mini and a 30 GB White 5th Gen iPod Video
5.) A 30 GB iPod is good. If you can't get a that, a 4 GB Nano is good too. Just reload your stuff every once and a while.

Also Creative has some nice ones was well. They can be found at http://www.creative.com

1.) No, they just show you what you are listening to, how many min./sec. have gone by, and how many left to go, but you can still acess your other features while listening to the music because iPod's have games and stopwatches.

2.) I'm pretty sure they don't, but I've only seen older Nanos. You can check it out in all kinds of places, I go to the Apple Store.

3.) They have color, but there isn't that much for them color, just the button that moves while you listen to music, and a few other things.

4.) I prefer the black and red iPod Nano, because they are easier on the go, where I am a lot, but it also depends on how much music you want to hold. Don't get a shuffle. Shuffles suck, that's one thing I know. My brother's friend had one and it was so bad that my brother couldn't listen to it.

5.) Get the one with the most storage space, that you would think would allow quick changes of songs.

Hope you like my advice!

1. ipod mini's do not play videos. i wish they did. but they dont.
2. i dont think any ipods have a voice recording feature. yet. though im not completely sure about that.
3. no the screen does not come in color for ipod mini.
4. i have an ipod mini. personally, i like it becuase its pink. lol. but you can upload pics onto a nano and they come in color which is a good thing. and the ipod video can play movies so thats pretty cool too.
5. i'd suggest the nano. becuase i think they dont make mini's anymore. and nano's are in color. you might want to get a colored case or something for it if you dont like it being just plain black or white. ipod video is really expensive, so unless you can afford that, id suggest the nano.

1. nope it wont play videos, because ipodmini has a monochromatic LCD meaning it only display grayscale pics. (black and white)
2. nope, ipod mini does not have a built in mic
3.nope (see 1)
4. i have an ipod nano 2 gig. it comes cheap and small but does not play videos. it can display colored pictures 'cause it has a colored LCD. If you have the money to buy a ipod 5th Gen 30gig(which has video) then go with it. cost around $350
5.12 years old? go for the nano 2gig. you dont need video. it will just drain your batt.

If you want the convenience of size go for the nano if you want to store a huge library of music on it then you'll want the bigger 60GB Ipod. The 60 GB holds up to 10,000 songs while the nano can hold as many as 5,000 I believe.

Well, I have a nano and I love it. It doesn't store as much as others, but it stores A LOT and you can cycle out your music easily. I think it only comes in black and white, there are LOTS of accessories for it, it's VERY durable/reliable. I have beat the hell out of mine and it works like a charm. It's small, mine doesn't play videos but you may be able to find one that does.
