Noah is a fictional character, so his story is not logical or scientific. There is a problem in answering your question sensibly, but that won't stop the Bible thumpers. There is no geological evidence of a world flood, and there isn't enough water to submerge all land. 70% of the earth is covered by water, but all of it cannot be covered. Noah's Ark was 300 cubits or about 450 feet long. It could not hold examples of all the 3,000,000 or more animal species recognized by zoologists. The Bible indicates that Creation was 6000 or so years ago, so the number of species in Noah's supposed time would be practically the same as now. It would take at least a century to load all animals onto a boat that would actually hold them. The Ark was supposedly made entirely of wood, so it'd fall apart in the sea. This tale is just a copy of the Sumerian tale of Utnapishtam in the Epic of Gilgamesh. The Bible copied many things from Sumeria, Persia, etc., e.g. Zoroaster of Persia invented a war between good and evil gods. Hebrews copied his Ahriman and renamed him Lucifer the Satan or Devil. Before this, God sent both good and evil, e.g. hardening the pharoah's heart in Exodus. Both God and Devil are blamed for David's census in the Bible. Parts written before the Persian Captivity blame God, and parts written after the Persian Captivity blame Lucifer. Some zealots blindly say the Bible has no flaws. What nonsense!
