Chile go to school get good grades and stop worrying about trying to impress people with material things. If you knew that your father doesn't have a job anymore then you should have never burdened him with this matter. Mainly because it could hurt him and make him really stressed. When a parent loves their child it bothers them not to be able to give them what they want ex specially when they have no job no money. You just put more pressure on him by crying to him about some dang sneakers to impress someone else so yes you where wrong. Cause you knew he didn't have a job so just how was he suppose to help out with this problem. What you should do is call him back and tell him not to worry about it and that you love him that would be an very unselfish thing and the most generous thing to do.

Well popularity is not important, put your self in some1 elses shoes what if you were poor and all you could afford was $0.50 flip flops that keept braking and people made fun of you. You don't always get what you want (not to be rude) but take it for consideration that your lucky you even have money to buy shoes and that you have a mom and a dad its not all about being popular and pretty because maybe they will make fun of you but then they must not be true friends and i am sure nobody else can afford $100 sneakers each year.

Why is it so important about what you look like on the outside? Just to be popular and with the in crowd. It's not what it's all about. It's about what is inside that counts. Obviously you are spoiled and you think more about what other people will say about you if you don't have the current fashions. Remember you are only in school for a short time. It does sound like you are a snob. Do you even bother with the kids that are not as pretty, or as well dressed? Are you hateful and mean to them! My suggestion, always try to follow the Golden Rule - "Do unto others and you would have them do unto you." Your life will be better if you would only follow this rule. Good Luck

The air jordan 2010 shoe drops across the country on Feb 13th, 2010 and is going for a whopping 170 bones per pair and this shoe isn't even all that believe me; it really makes you wonder even though they brought back the Legendary Tinker Hatfield to design this Michael Jordan shoe if Michael himself would have even worn this shoe or flat outright refused to wear this sneaker. Lots of people are comparing it to something you can pick up at Walmart which is bad enough while the ridiculous circular window on the Air Jordan shoe is even worse.

I'm actually dying to see how strong the lure of Jordan Brand really is still and whether all of the haters on the sneaker forums/blogs that say they despise this air jordan shoe will actually go and buy it just the same when it actually releases in mid February of next year.

Your being very selfish and a brat. You should take other people's situations into consideration. I'm sure if your mother/father could afford to buy you new shoes they would. You have now put your father in a really bad situation that he probably feels if he doesn't provide you with the money/shoes he will be letting you down. I would seriously think about what's more important your parents feelings or what your friends say.

I think you are acting like a spoiled brat. Your father is out of work and you are bothering about some shoes? Shame on you. If your so called friends are so shallow that they will pick on you because you are wearing last year's Jordan's, you have major issues.

goodness gracious<< sounds to me like you are very immature and inconsiderate! there are some kids out there that couldnt get a new pair of shoes or any clothes at all for school and you are crying over something like this!!!!! If your as perfect as you seem to think you are, then Im sure you took very good care of those shoes last year and you CAN wear them again!!! DESPERATE!!! ah,wait until you grow up and have adult decisions to make, like feeding and clothing your own children, working everyday to get by , you got a long way to go..... think of your parents instead of yourself for a change!

Let me understand the problem. About nine months ago you 'bothered and bothered' for a pair of jordans. Your dad bought them. Now your mom wants you to wear that same pair of shoes for p.e. You cried and cried over this? Wow. Sorry, let's see what words come to mind: spoiled, shallow, sycophant, manipulator. There's no problem here except for you self-obsession.

Just start making a new trend at school, you say you are popular so use the power that you have and make your shoe cool again, and the other thing is you can't always get what you want that i just the way the world works...
