Most women will feel movements between 16-22 weeks, depending on the number of pregnancies you have had, and your body type. Very thin women may feel fetal movements a lot sooner, and a woman who has already had a baby may feel movements about a month earlier than she felt the first movements of the first pregnancy due to the laxity of her uterus, and she now knows what she is feeling.

Of all of my friends that have had children, none of them had felt the baby move before 14 weeks. I'm not saying what you are feeling isn't the baby moving, that's just my experience. I started feeling the baby move at about 18 weeks with my son, and with the baby I'm pregnant with now I've been feeling it for about a week (and I'm 17 weeks pregnant).

Good luck to you and your baby! Enjoy your pregnancy....it all goes by way too quickly!

You would not be able to feel your baby this early. The baby is only the size of a pinto bean at this point...very tiny and they are just barely developing arms and legs so they have no way of moving themselves around. With my 2nd baby I did feel her at 12-13 weeks, but I knew the signs. Most women feel first babies between 16-20 weeks or a little later.

I first felt my baby move at like 10 weeks...but it was very very faint...like i could hardly feel it. And i wasnt even sure if that was it. Until I was about 14 weeks along i could feel HIM kick....now I am 26 weeks along and oh my...he doesnt sit still for anything. It usually starts out with a few a day...little by little....More towards your 20th week is when you normally can feel the baby. Its said that first time moms usually feel the first kicks at about 18 weeks. Congratulations and Best of Luck!!!!

If you are very thin and sensitive to your changing body like that, then you very well may be feeling the baby. I'm pregnant with my 4th child, and I could feel her about that time, only in certain positions (like leaning forward in a chair) and it was faint, but I knew exactly what it was from previous experience. With my first child I was clueless and it didn't register to me what I was feeling until about 19 weeks. With my other 2, I felt them around 12 weeks.

Everyone's body is different. Enjoy this time, I'm 25 weeks now and feel like the baby is going to be a kung fu champ....... :-O

If its your first baby you might not notice until you are about 16 weeks. When I had my second baby I felt him at 13 weeks. 8 weeks is too early to feel any movement.

it will be the baby moving i felt my baby move early on it was like butterfly's,its a nice feeling in the beginning, hold on to that thought because as they grow so do there feet and then it can hurt when they move, and they always wait while your going to sleep to start moving.

i felt it when i was 15 weeks pregnant . but it depends on ur sensitivity.

normally for the first time we don't know how we will feel so may be we catch late but the second time u can catch early.

but thru some friend s if u know before that what sort of feelings u will have when the baby moves then u might come to know before also.

mostly they say u can feel after 12 weeks but may be if some one can feel before that also.----as i said depends on ur sensitivity.
