my boyfriend told me a coulpe of months ago that he loved me. we got talking the other day and he said that he didnt love me and he had really strong feelings for me and then he told me to forget everything he said he didnt mean it but i just can forget what he said so why did he tell me he loved me and let me think that he did if he didnt he has really confused me can any 1 help?

Sometimes you feel pressured to say it because the other person has .. or because you feel that they will dump you if you dont .. sometimes you want to convince yourself you do because 'thats the way it should be ' or 'at my age I should be in love'. .. there is of course the really nasty one which is that he may have wanted to get you into bed.
The one thing you can be sure of is to say that he doesnt love you probably means he doesnt .. particularly if he knew how much it would upset you.
There are nice guys in the world so suggest you move on and find someone who values you truly :)

He is bad news. Leave him. The last thing you need around you is a confused and immature man. What kind of man is he who does not know how to keep his words right. The naked truth is he does not love you. When you love someone, there are no "buts" and "ifs". Don't waste your time on him, you might miss someone who really loves you whilst solving this confusion situation.

What you have here is one scared boyfriend! He has feelings for you but once he said them out loud, he scared himself! I wouldn't push it, give him a chance to digest everything. If you continue to push this, you will push him away.

either this guy is really confused or he is toying with your emotions. let him go. if he was toying with you he won't come back and you will be better off, If he was confused this will give him time to make up his mind.

Dump him he is obvisously one of those guys that fear committment. I mean he can't even commit to saying I love you!!! You need to find someone that will say what they mean.
