I'm sure the answers before me will say basically the same...but here's my 2 cents :-). My 2-month-old little girl just had her first combo imm. shots last week, and she had a slight fever the next day. She also had a bit of tenderness at the injection sites, and she was very sleepy too. I just gave her infant Tylenol and some extra cuddling...she was absolutely fine not long afterward. :-) The severe side effects/reactions you read about are EXTREMELY rare; in fact so rare, that experts don't know if the vaccinations are really what cause them anyway. Don't worry; you're little one will be just fine. It's much safer to be vaccinated than to not be vaccinated and contract all sorts of strange and serious diseases. You're doing the right thing. :-)

You can get some side effects from their 2 month jabs.
Slight Fever (temp above 37.5) which can last upto 4 days
Redness and Swelling at injection site
Irritable
Sleepy
My son had a slight temperature for a few days which is much better than him contracting any of the illnesses which are being immunized against. He has his 3 months jabs tomorrow - so I'm hoping they go fine. Many babies have no reaction at all, and those that do react rarely have a prolonged or serious reaction. Rest assured you're giving her the best start by getting her immunized in the first place.

I was like that to my son is 3 months now but I remember when I took him to get his 2 months shot she was telling me the side effect high fever crying for several hours straight etc... I was lucky and my son did not do any of these I have him the Tylenol every 4 hours like they said to and I have him a bath and put a warm wash cloth over where they did the shots he actually slept all day and night so I think the Tylenol help very much. Even if he was not fussy I still did it every 4 hours for 24 hours except when he was sleeping. Don't worry I am sure she will be fine.

As long as theyre not live vaccines, Iam sure she's fine.
Theres bound to be a few side effects, but nothing of any real concern. What you mostly want to watch for is an allergic reaction, such as red puffy swelling at the injection site, fever and vomiting, or listlessness.
i would avoid live cultures at all costs. I nearly died of meningitis because it was a required vaccine to start school... but it was a live culture and actually gave me the illness. At the time the vaccine was being pulled from the market, but my doctor insisted i get it anyway.
Thankfully the infection was only in my hip and never traveled to my spine or brain, despite the fact that i had it for over a week because the doctor told my mom i was fine... knowing full well what it was.
Anyway. For you, iam sure its fine, there are not many live cultures on the market today :)

Some people are just paranoid when they take their kids to get their shots because they falsely believe that they cause Autism...this is NOT true! Some babies may have a reaction, but most don't. My son's doctor told me to just give infant Tylenol for slight fever and discomfort. I was also told to give a dose of Tylenol 20-30 minutes BEFORE the shots to help with the pain. Call your daughter's doctor and ask them how much Tylenol to give based on her weight.

The only side affects with all three of mine at that age was a little fever but not above 100 degrees and they were sleepy and sore from the shot. When I got home from the doctor I gave them some Tylenol (infant) and it helped them sleep and take away the fever.

My baby had almost no side effect, only a red spot where he was given a shot. If your baby got the DTPa instead DTP, then a risk of any side effects is very very low.

the doctor should have told u about side affects before giving the baby the shots but mostly the side affects should last more than a day or so and if it should make appointment to have the child seen by the doctor to determine whats going on and i have only had this problem with my oldest son
