Ok I have an important question? When someone is reported and its related to child molestation (Ive read some sick and disturbing questions) Does yahoo just ban them from this site or does the user get investigated to make sure the child is really not in any harm. There are some very sick people on here and you dont know if what they are saying is BS or if a child could really be in danger..Read some of the questions by JayFatA$$ and gnomeing_girl these sort of questions are repulsive!!!!

I don't know, I'm new to using this site.
but would hope that yahoo investigates or at least passes on the relevent info about the person/s to the appriate law services dealing with such evil sick vile minded people.
Cause if any childs life or well being is in danger, then surely we and Yahoo have an obligation to report it, after all it could be our child, that is being groomed and we might not noticed some of the signs early on and if someone knew we would be greatful for someone poking their nose in and telling you or report it to the police or NSPCC or similar which inturn saved your child from one of these horrible vile persons.
So if you know or suspect something, I would report the abuse to yahoo, via the link under the question 'report abuse' and also you must be able to contact yahoo directly via email, put your concerns in an email to them.
if you are UK resident even contact NSPCC for advice and detail what you have read and your concerns, they might wish to take out a user id, and pose as joe public and keep watch on these people and have more pathways to getting someones idenity found and the person brought to task over why they are writting what they are, be it just talk or if they are acting it.
I havent' read these or other message by these people, but am disgusted that some sick evil people are even using this site in such a way to cause concern.
I know people hate getting involved these days and some think cause its nothing to do with them/their family, so they can ignore it.
BUT Sorry, I think that if you know or suspect a child is being abused, it IS your business to get involved. turn the tables and imagine a neighbour saw something very worrying that involved your daughter and some other neighbour and they turned a blind eye and your daughter was found hurt somewhere, you would be upset at the fact this person could have prevented it.
I think the decent amoung us have a duty to help protect children from threats like this, if they see or read something that makes them think twice about its meaning, its better to report it, the old saying 'be safe rather than sorry.....
glad you have brought it to our attention and hope that everyone that has read these messages will report it, larger numbers complaining gets things done, don't assume someone else will do it, cause one day everyone will take that attitude and no-one will have and a childs life will be changed for ever or worse lost.

I totally agree with you that those questions are repulsive, I can only guess what they are saying is BS just because I can't imagine anyone doing any of the things they mention. Either way something should be done for them to even type something so disgusting

I am not certain but I would report them to Yahoo! and to the authorities if it is that bad. Also, parents need to stay on top of what their kids are doing when on the CPU and cell as well as educating them to the creeps that are out there.
Just my two cents.

I'm finding out there are some on here that I don't even read the questions as they are so bogus.

most people who do molest their kids arent going to talk about it online because everything CAN be traced back and there was a yahoo group busted for child porn so highly unlikely anyone who posts the stuff is being real

They can't investigate, I don't think. I'm sure the FBI is notified of some stuff but generally, I bet the questions are just removed.

I think they just get banned and start a new ID. Otherwise there wouldn't be so much of that stuff going on.

Yahoo does not investigate, police or even moderate this board, and if they do, then they do a pretty poor job of it.
