When God put Adam Eve in the Garden of Eden and Eve was convinced by the serpent to eat the apple and she gave some to Adam against Gods orders . Both Adam and Eve were given rules to follow . We also have rules to follow ( the law , at work and just about everywhere we go) there are rules . Gods plan is a rule for a descent life. When Eve and Adam broke the rules they choose to serve the devil and she brought forth evil over mankind. Yes you can serve the Devil if you choose . that's the mistake Eve made . She questioned GOD.

God knows you are only human and you will screw up, he made you like that. He just wants you to be smart enough to acknowledge this also and hopefully make the right choices, even if it makes you indifferent to the norm. The way you serve the Devil is to blame your problems on others when it's your choice what you do or did. God wants you to admit to him your not perfect, your not telling him anything he doesn't already know but it shows him you are intelligent. Much like an earthly judge, if you acknowledge you messed up most will be lenient. But if you treat him like he's the fool, he will punish you severely for it. Biblical scholars have believed when Satan is let loose he'll ask for forgiveness, God said he is to far gone. Satan suffers more than anything else in hell, he's the god of ignorance and he'll continue to always suffer for it.

You can choose not to serve GOD that is your choice a choice GOD allows you to make. Does that mean you serve the devil? I dont know. But I dont think anyone serves the devil. Evil is the total absence of GOD. A desire to be without GOD and do things he opposes . The devil is pure evil. He wins if you desert GOD willingly. Does this mean you serve him? I dont know. I think it means you do what he wants by denying GOD and refusing his salvation.

There must needs be opposition in all things. How would you know good from evil, virtue and vice, pleasure and pain? Satan's plan is to make men as miserable as himself. God's Plan? "To bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." You cannot serve two masters. You either serve God or Satan. You love the one and hate the other. You chose captivity and misery over eternal life and exaltation. There cannot be service to both.

That wasn't God's plan. God's plan was for everyone to serve him. But, he gave man free will so they can choose to love him on their own. It was man's free will that cause them to serve the Devil.

First of all, God gave everyone free will, so it's your choice whether you follow God or Satan. There's a path that leads to Heaven that can be attained by following God's will, and another that leads to Hell, attained by following Satan. It is a serious sin by following Satan, and most people, without realizing it, have taken the path ofSatan. Even some of those who have answered your question are Satan-followers. And, yes, if you serve Satan you will be thrown into the burning lake and livem forever in pain and misery, lust and temptation, and all things evil.

Sure, as long as you understand THE REST of God's plan:
Those that serve the devil will have their part in the lake of fire.

Absolutely! God likes messing around with people. That's his plan. It's all a test, you see. If you've ever sinned, you've failed the test, and are therefore a worthless human being. God doesn't mess around with losers. So you gotta watch out for the Devil, you know?

God gave both Angels and humans the ability to think for themselves. What we do is our fault, not God's. Remember, Lucifer is a fallen angel who was sentenced to Hell by God because of his arrogance. Therefore, every party had free thought in the matter, and God didn't plan that you would choose to serve Lucifer.
