My lover and I went to a double feature at a repertory theater in San Francisco. The second one was "Pee Wee's Big Adventure". When it came on, we saw it was obviously for toddlers. I would've probably loved it if I was four years old, but I am an adult, so it was unbearably silly to me. My lover liked it a bit better, but neither of us wished to sit through two hours or so of such infantile stuff, so we left the theater. My pal Lee Cameron likes such stuff. I don't go to movies with him.

There are some things which should never be seen by the eyes of mortals. Pee Wee movies are one of those things.

This was a very cute film. The key to this film is understanding that it's directed by Tim Burton. Therefore everything in the film will be weird and twisted. I think it really adds to the appeal of the film, but if you aren't prepared for it you won't enjoy it as much. All of Tim's films take an askew view of the world and this certainly fits right in there.

I watched it back in the day as a child. Now I can't figure out way I found screaming at words and talking appliances so amusing. Lawrence Fishburn stooped to a new low. I never remembered he was the cowboy. He went from cowboy to boy in the hood.

great action picture!! Tim Burton's first action picture. music by utilising Danny Elfman. Co-written by utilising the late great Phil Harman. dazzling cameos (Jan Hooks, James Brolin, Morgan Fairchild). "I undergo in techniques the Alamo", "I meant to try this", "everybody has a great yet", and whilst James Brolin says, "i understand you're, yet what am I?" are a number of my admired strains.
