We cut our grass when we need to. It depends on how much rain we get etc. Usually more often in the spring (2 or three times a week), then towards the end of the summer maybe only once every couple of weeks, if that.

Yup, the better it looks, but I don't agree(well actually I don't believe)with you, that'll just kill the beautiful looks of your yard, shoot anybody else that is like me that can actually take time to cut their grass, use a weed wacker to fix it a bit and blow it out is a true man.
I hate people who have others to do their grass, hey, WHY DON'T YOU CUT YOUR OWN FRICKIN' GRASS AND LET THE LITTLE GUYS MOVE ON WITH THEIR LIVES?!

Ours gets cut when it is to the point you can only see about half of the house --- ha !!
If I had my way it would be cut every week or week and a half, but the hubby does the grass, so it gets done when he gets time.

We only mow every 2-3 weeks, and we don't bag the grass clippings. Next year I may expand the vege garden and flower gardens so there is little or nothing to mow.

I wouldn't say 'regular', but I do cut it as soon as I feel like it needs it.
This summer I put in a fresh St. Augustine sod yard, and it is way more work than I thought it would be, plus it doesn't wear well for walking traffic....live & learn.

No..... sometimes the cows and horses clean it all up before I have to get on the slasher!!
Thank goodness... otherwise it takes about 3 days non-stop.... and that doesnt include brushcutting!
