Let's say shallow water - 2m. A great white vs one of those big salt water crocs that are really big.

The shark has a more killing bite an is known for the ferocity of the first impact. A croc, though undoubtably powerfull, hunts more by grabbing and drowning its big prey. That of course wouldnt work with a shark..

That's a fight i'd definately like to see!!
I think it's got to be te croc!! 2m of water isn't deep enough for a great white to move about in!! the croc also has tougher skin than the shark!!

That would be a great battle. I'd say the shark. the croc wouldn't be able to get it's mouth wide enough to take a bite of the shark, and the sheer bulk of the shark would be too much for the Croc.

I think a croc would win for the simple fact that is a reptile.U see a reptile could monuver much faster then a sharkwhen it comes to jaw action.the only way a shark could beat a big croc is if it grabs it by the neck and end the croc fast.but besides that i think i croc would win.

I dont know wht ur trying to say the man with id sweetpete is infact correct.You will never find a shark in fresh water nor crocs in salty water then how come u can make them fight.Even if ur considering then also it is wrong as 2m depth is to shallow for shark as sharks prefer to live in deep sea.Your question is totally hypothetical.

Gotta be the croc......shark is gonna have a hard time biting through the crocs skin....shark has to keep moving so it can breath...and croc is amphibious......10-2 croc....Yes!!!! we need more nonsense questions on Yahoo answers...

Shark will win. It has a mouth big enough to bite the croc. The crock has more vulnerable spots.

It depends if the fight was in water or not. if so then the shark would win hands down. on land the croc would win.

This really would be the Ali v Foreman of the water....it's almost too close to call.
I'll plump for the Croc purely on the basis that it might be able to administer the death-roll - what a sight that would be.
