Nothing will CURE the flu (anywhere in the world) except a Relenza type drug applied VERY early on.
Panadol, aspirin, whiskey, trips to Qld etc may make you feel better but won't cure it.
And don't waste your money on homoepathic rubbish.

I like Elderberry tincture, aka Black Elderberry (sambucus nigra). It is widely marketed as Sambucol. It fights flu everywhere. ;-) Known to shorten the duration of the flu. If you taken upon first exposure or first indication, often averts the disease altogether.

I've read that Red Marine Algae (avail. in pills) is also good to kill flu virus, but haven't tried it yet.

Also Yarrow tea is good for the fever and achies. Very bitter, so sweeten w/ honey and put a little lemon in if you wish.
