i'm looking into the iRiver U10 the 512mb version since their sellin them in canada for only 80 bucks, but if i convert all my songs in wma 128kbps how many song can i fit?
an accurate song count plss.

The ratio for is twice as much thatn with MP3. So I would say about 240.

If quality means nothing to you,convert to a low bitrate and get about 10 CD's in that amount of space,maybe 120 songs.
Personally,I would rather have 40 or 50 songs at a higher quality bitrate.

Depends on the bitrate. If you're doing it around 128 kps, you can fit around 100.

it depends on the song or music you intend to enter in your 512MB player but most songs are between 4-6MB so do the math...............about 100 songs ? try to select your playlist first then have the total MB of all the songs selected making sure they don't exceed 512MB then transfer them to your portable player.
