Not for the most part. Sometimes we error in our ways, or trust someone that proves later to be untrustworthy. Sometimes if there is a doubt we must trust people and give them the benefit of the doubt. So I guess in a sense we all can be gullible at times. The good rule of thumb is to live God's way and he directs us. He teaches us to test the truth and not be gullible. How we do that is by the following:

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, [to see] whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

“By this you [may] know the spirit of God:

“Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God

“And every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God...” (1 John 4:1-3 NKJV)

The proverb warns us that “the simple[ton] believes every word [he hears]: but the prudent man considers well his steps.” (Prov 14:15)

May the people of God exercise godly prudence, discrimination, and tact, taking care not to be too accepting of any man’s teaching. “Beloved, do not believe every spirit.”

Definitely not. I ruthlessly scrutinise every piece of junk mail, every competition and most adverts to find the catch, and very rarely come away without one.
Do people really subsidise TV programs by calling their high rate competition numbers? or premium rate texts? All for a one in 100,000 chance of winning a weekend in wherever? They must want to be poor.

I am the most gullible person in the world. An ex boyf told me that because Diana had bulemia, all the vomit had rotted her teeth and the ones she had were false - and, to my eternal shame, I believed him.

I have been stupidly gullible in the past.

Now I'm really suspicious and think everyone is trying to wind me up, so I don't believe anything anyone tells me anymore!!

I think I am. When someone told me that Swampy had died of a heart condition because he had objected to a by-pass, I completely believed them.
