I have the nuva ring. Its a tiny ring that you bend in half and shove up inside you. It is AWESOME. Better than the pills, because alot of people forget to take them. Ive been on the ring for over a year now and have had NO side effects at all. It works great, doesnt slide out,and doesnt feel uncomfortable. You just put it in, leave it in for three weeks, take it out, and then that week you will have your period, and then u put it in the next week, and the cycle continues. Its great, you can go swimming, shower, have sex, do anything with this birth control. I have been considering the depo shot though, only because you get it once every 3 months, and you dont have a period. The choice is up to you, good luck!

low dose does not mean better chance to get pregant... but missing a pill on a normal dose can mean getting pregant... you may want to think about the patch or the nuvaring for less to think about every day. sit down w/ your gynie & he/she will tell you about benefits/risks better than we can. somewhere on the web there is a page you can pull up with all the birth control options that tells about how to use them, risks, benefits, etc as well... you may want to look there too.
also w/ pills you may end up trying one for say 6mos to a year & then if it isn't "the one" for you, switching to another... doctors will do that for you... but only they can tell you based on how it works for YOUR body chemistry- which other one will be best.

I'm not sure... but also you should look out for waht ARE the side effects. because some BC might have more but waaaaay milder side effects, while others are the other way around.
and some help regulate your period or stop it or whatever...
