Before we are born, during development, our faces develop from the back of the head to the front of the face. Sometimes tissue attaches to the chin bone in this way and is called a cleft chin. Other times, if the tissue does not completely connect in the pallette or nasal cavity it is called a cleft pallette.
It's genetic, and means nothing more than nature and heredity.

My chin is slightly cleft and I've always been a loner. People that meet me call me saintly because I'm very understanding of others and put them before myself. These things could come from being very confident and having a high self esteem also. I like to see others do well and be happy.

I have heard that my self. My ex has cleft on his chin and he is arrogant. But I have also noticed that most men are just arrogant period
