Ooh! I do mean to be bearer of bad news, but this sounds very bad! Plastic ( I assume that is what you mean) parts in the oil pan is a sign of something very wrong.

I agree, it doesn't sound good, but you really haven't provided enough information. Year, make, model... when did the problem start, is there coolant in the radiator? Is the oil milky? Did you drain the oil and plastic pieces came out the drain hole? Did you drop the pan and found plastic pieces? I would suggest you have it towed to a reputable repair facility.

Take your car to a mechanic , the oil needs to be drained and the oil pan cleaned or replaced. If not, your whole engine could be ruined.

sounds like a bad deal. depends on the vehicle but GM ran plastic gears for there timing chain and when they went, plastic was everywhere. now, not knowing what kind of vehicle you have i would have a hard time trying to answer this question, more info please
