I'm glad you asked this question because I'm about to have to do the same! It's been 16 years since my last interview (I worked at my last job for 11 years) & I have been running my own business & raising a family for the last five years.

Be yourself.
Make the most of the time you have had out - if you have been bringing up children you have been a "domestic executive" managing budgets, sourcing, buying, and become an expert on time management and man management. I'm sure you can think of more examples.
Don't beleive me? How did you get your two year old to getinto his clothes, eat his breakfast and get to play school on time???
