It came on last night at the same time Monday night Football was suppose to. What the hell is ESPN thinking? Do I care if Joe wears cologne or if his hair is real? Do I care if Tony knows the answer to Warren Sapp's question? NO!!! Those two are just full of themselves.
What do you think?
Where's my John and Al. That was Monday Night Football!

Has never been a Joe fan and I wasn't impressed at all with Tony. Al Michaels is good but there is only so much of Madden I can stand also.

Michaels and Madden sucked. They have NO chemistry together. That old MNF booth hasn't had chemistry since they broke up Al, Dan Dierdorf and Boomer Esiason. I know Dan and Boomer didn't get along, but that adversarial relationship made for great TV.
Surprisingly, the best chemistry they had was with Dennis Miller in the booth, as he and Michaels were really on the same page intellectually. Dan Fouts, however, was completely lost.

But, having said all that, as important as chemistry is, I don't know why they would break up Mike Patrick-Paul Maguire-Joe Theismann. Those three were pretty good together.
Though I have to say, I think Mike Tirico is going to do fine, and I do think Kornheiser is funny as hell. I don't want to like him, but I do.
To me, Theismann and Sean Salisbury would be interchangeable. They could've had Salisbury and John Clayton and let them fight all night.

Finally, I can watch Monday Night Football without having to listen to John Madden yammer on and on.

Monday night football without 35 mentions of adoring lust for Brett Favre. What a novel concept...

I liked it. But I wish they would replace Mike Tirico with Al Michaels, for some real commentary.
