Not very far. I'm old enough to remember when there was no air conditioning, no TV, deodorant was a talcum powder like stuff that worked for about 10 minutes so everybody stank, only some of the homes, at least in the little town where I grew up, had indoor johns, phones were on "party" lines, which meant about 6 other households had what amounted to extensions and could pick up their phones and listen to any conversation you were having, roads were gravel surfaced so when you got where you were going you were dusty enough you needed a bath, the remedy for any ailment was a round of laxative, and God forbid you needed to go to the dentist. I figure about 1980 is as far back as I'd care to go.

If I had the chance to go back I would chose my early teen years and get a fresh start. Enjoy my life instead of trying to grow up so soon.

1950's. Fun music, movies, poodle skirts, hamburgers and milkshakes. Making out in the car and cruisin'. Sounds like a real cool time to grow up.

Exactly 10 years. I wouldn't mind doing everything past 18 years old again! Before then? Nahh...I didn't like high school that much!
