It was an unfair penalty, partly because Grosso is just as good as a diver and actor as anyone else on that team. Australia played really well, and their sportsmanship is amazing, they did not deserve to lose heartbreakingly like that. They kept Italy from scoring on them for 93 minutes, before that unfair penalty was awarded, so it just goes to show that Australia really deserved the win, Italy defended but were quite sluggish. But Italy doesn't know the meaning of fair play, look what they did against Germany and France, it makes me very sad what happened this World Cup, because an undeserving team won and that is unacceptable.

Itay are cheats. I totally agree with u. I am from Trinidad and Tobago, and i really wanted Australia to blow out Italy, and they would have. Italy are cheats, They totally suck. and even though they won the cup, i was glad for one thing....... ZIDANE's Head.
Australia are cool, and will reach further in 2010 after they beat italy in the group stages together with Senegal and Turkey

um yeah, what's done is done. Yeah maybe but as a defender myself, i would have never even thought about doing what the Austrailian defender did. He asked for it. It was a bad call but the ref had to make a decision on the spot.

i dont. stupid player shouldnt have fell in front of him. any team would have made it look really bad and fell. but whats done is done. get over it and deal thats italys better. and maybe you should watch some other teams play and realize that italians arent cheaters.

I think any honest person would say yes to this question....but it happens all the time, diving seems to have become part of football strategy, most teams do it.
