Is buying a used Play Station 2 worth it?

If you want a PS2 wait until number 3 comes out. The prices on the PS2 will plummet. Or you could go for PS3 but it's ultra pricey.
Personally I would get the PS2 and have that for a year while giving enough time for more PS3 games to hit the shelf and so sales calm. The after the madness of Xmas has passed the prices will decrease on the PS3 and it's games. Then trade in your PS2 and games (keep in mind PS3 can play PS2 games) for a PS3 (this will knock of another chunk of cash) then pay the difference. Savings galore! :)

yes. it still is even though ps3 is coming out with a hefty price tag. the games in ps2 are still very much in demand and still fun to play with. get it while you can!

Yes, but I recommend you buy from an EBGAMES or GAMESTOP, they do offer a limited warranty on their used games/consoles.

yes it is. provided you have alot of games to go with it. having 2 controllers, joypad, guns and driving gear will make things even more fun and worthwhile
