No, not too young to have it, just too young to raise it.

I have known a lot of teens who had babies and the baby turned out to be healthy. Some of the reasons it may not turn out healthy would be if the mom drinks, smokes, doesn't take care of herself, is in an abusive relationship, or does drugs. There isn't any reason why she can't have a healthy baby unless she herself isn't healthy and doesn't take of herself. Also if she is not getting good medical care that would be another reason.
My worry is more after the fact. She may be emotionally immature, how much support does she have with her family, does everyone expect that she should marry the father? If she doesn't have support from her family where is she and baby going to live?, how is she supporting the baby, will she end up on welfare? Would she consider giving the baby up for adoption? I think she is going to be in for a shock when she discovers that she is going to be tied down more than she realizes. Is she going to be able to complete high school--is she expecting her parents to take care of the baby? Does she want to go onto college? What will she do if she wants to go out on a date and realizes that she cannot go out? How attentive is she going to be-may be initially--but what are her habits--will she want to go out all the time and leave the baby? What about the father of the baby? Is he in the picture? Does she have anything to do with the father?
These are the bigger questions that need to be asked. Supporting her, the baby physically and emotionally are going to be so important. Hopefully things will work out. I am not super religious but asking God to watch over her and the baby won't hurt.

Personally, 15 is a little young to be a mommy. But, the baby will be fine, I am sure, as long as mom receives the proper medical attention and takes care of herself while pregnant. I have friends who became moms at that age and their kids grew up just fine. One of my friends, who had her daughter at 16, is now a grandmother to a beautiful 1 yr old girl. Best wishes

Biologically, a 15 year-old can have a healthy baby- without endangering herself or the child. Mentally and emotionally, both the 15 year-old and the infant will require tremendous support.

As long as your daughter gets the proper nutrients (isn't pigging out on normal 15 year old fare like McDonald's) and is getting the support she needs from her guardians she and the baby will thrive and be healthy. Congratulations Grandma!!! Stay positive :)

As long as the mother is in good health and maintains it throughout her pregnancy the baby will be fine. This means not eating fast food and eating proper meals. This also includes not taking drugs and getting some gentle exercise.
Like the others said her body should be fine physically but mentally she will need plenty of support from those around her.

The baby will be healthy if the mom is healthy. I suggest natural birthing techniques for the new mom which may make her thing twice about spreading her legs again.
