my son spends hours there, but he just lodt his sister and his dad is not around since may, but thats been a good thing...help getting him off without him hating me forever

That's a REALLY good question as my son is sitting at the computer playing Runescape right now. As far as too much? I think two hours is plenty (he of course disagrees) but when it's hot out and he has nothing to do I don't mind as long as he gets all of his chores done. When he's in school we have a "no screens" policy Monday-Thursday, so no Runescape at all. Trust me, once we started no screens his grades improved.

I used to be addicted to runescape but when I started to read Harry Potter (or any book) I stoped. I realized that the game has no point. Sometimes, people need to do things by themselves

I'm sure he will get tired of playing the Game, its a matter of being patient. Encourage him to play, reverse psychology usually works well for children. Suport him and tell him you love him. Be thankfull you have such a wonderful child.

Find something else that interests him and join in his fun. If his dad's not around, he needs a partner. Or just take him shopping for something else to interest him.

1-3 hours a day i mean you don't want to be stuck 2 the computer all day
