Depends how far you want to go, in Manchester England there is a major Gay population.

There also must be gay bars closer to home, in cork I am sure Dublin will have some, or there is some a bit further away in Belfast.

Or Try a dating site or personal ads.

Be careful if you do hook up though, as you are only curious, you may want to back out at the last minute so make sure you are safe.

Greenwich Village, New York City. It is the best place, whether or not bears little on the fact that it still is the best resource. Aer Lingus flies from Shannon into JFK. Airtrain to Penn, 1 or 2 to Christopher Street.
