I don't get it. I met my best friend after a long time and my boyfriend was with me. She didn't even ask who he was or as much as said hello and when he went to the bar for a drink, she said she thought he was a girl, which with a bit of a stubble and a staggering 6ft height I don't see how she managed. Then she altogether avoided the subject and I didn't want to embarass her any further.

She was telling me for over an hour how she's not had a proper relationship for the past two years, even though she never had trouble finding a boyfriend before. Should I worry that she's having an eye for my boyfriend?

she could fancy him becauseshe is trying to convince herself ans well as you that she doesnt find him attractive...but at least even if she is secretly lusting for him she is still keeping well away and that is a good friend despite her being a little harsh. she is your best mate talk to her.

Its not unusual for friends to have similar tastes in mates.
But if you dont trust her - and clearly you no longer do - it might be time to step back from her.

No, Don't worry! She sounds more evasive than interested.
