Years ago, I bought a smokeless ashtray for my then-husband. He never used it, so I returned it to the store. I hate returning things without a good reason, I always feel like I'm doing something I shouldn't.
My mom was with me when I returned it, and when the lady asked me why I was returning it, I said without thinking, "My husband stopped smoking." My mom said, REALLY LOUD, "he stopped smoking???" and I had to say "no"

It was at work, well actually at a party that I attended. I called in sick to work to go and then I ran into one of my bosses there. He wasn't mad though because he called in sick himself to attend this party. lol
I really thought I would get into trouble at work for this,but he just said it was my sick time and I could use it as I seen fit.

last saturday! my fiance asked me if i was disappointed over something.i really tried hard to hide my feelings so he won't know. i guess i was so transparent. he really knew! but he was so nice about it-- he sent me flowers and a basket of fruits afterwards just to wish me well!
