50 Cent, a.k.a. Curtis Jackson, is a rapper with songs such as "In Da Club," "Disco Inferno," "Candy Shop," and "21 Questions." He even has made a film, recently ("Get Rich or Die Tryin" - which is also the title of his first LP), which is a semi-portrayal of his life. Not particularly a GOOD movie but it's watchable.
Now, G-Unit (Gorilla Unit) is the name of his clique and enterprise. Four of the more popular members/singers/rappers are Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Tony Yayo, and Olivia. Also, you've probably seen several adolescents wearing G-Unit clothing. 50 Cent has branched his likeness to the area of apparel, mineral/vitamin water (really, it's true), and other areas.

look 50 is a rapper wwho named himself after a gangsta who was 5'0 and was shot 15 times. the new 50 says he has been shot 9 times but only has been shot 7 times and g-unit is a group that the new 50 started. so 50 is the founder of g-unit

NO ONE HAS ANSWERED RIGHT. 50 CENT IS A RAPPER. HE IS PART OF SHADY/AFTERMATH RECORDS. HE ALSO STARTED HIS OWN LABEL WHICH IS G-UNIT.
