why is it so many white people talk and act like their black? I had a white "ghetto" girl say to me recently, "Know yourself before you start opening your mouth to me" ha ha! what the fuuccck!!!! I think i pissed her off even more by laughing at her actually! where do they get that lingo!

I don't know...I will confess that I watch Flavor of Love sometimes just because it's such a train wreck, especially that "Buckwild" girl. She is always getting put down by the black girls for acting ghetto, and it is so obviously fake! If that's where you're from, OK, but I find it annoying when people try to adopt cultures and lingos that are totally opposite to their own life. Being appreciative of diversity and open to people of all walks of life is great, but you should also respect your own culture and upbringing!

Because for some strange reason some white people think it is trendy to be black. Because most black people have a coolness about them all their own. But its just something that comes natural. When you have to put on a front to sound that way or be that way then it just sounds stupid and fake. As for why some white people do this, they are probably not happy with who they are so they try to be something they're not. I dont know I'm white and I think its lame too.

The same reason why you asked this question. They think by doing it they will seem cool to their peers. Why do you stereotype like that? I've heard Asians and Latinos talk like that also but no one thinks that it is inappropriate for them? If you have a problem with this do you also have a problem with people speaking English even though it is not their typical native tongue? Grow up and stop being so racist.

Why do so many black persons (women) want to look white. Most of the entertainers now look "almost" white. What ever happened to afros, really black girl singers and etc.? I am not criticizing, but I often think this.

i kno how u feel. one of my best friends always says "im out like a white gurl in the ghetto" when shes white, and she lives in the ghetto. i think people do it because they think t hey can get more attention by acting black. because most of the singers/rappers are black now, they want attention, so they act like those people.
