Do you mean you can't write them or you want other's and then bring them with you if/when you get discovered?
For writing them, you should just write out what you feel, with a tune in your head sometimes.
For getting them, find somebody willing to show their stuff and have you sing it. They should also agree with the sounds and music and everything. Otherwise you could have a super stupid lawsuit.

Ultimately, the lyrics themselves don't matter. It's the music behind them that makes your voice sound good. The lyrics are just a vehicle.

well if you have a favorite band or singer you should take their lyrics...but i recommend red hot chili peppers...there lyrics are great...
