I love the whole movie and think this is a difficult one,but I would like to hear what others think.I think I have to go with the story of Valerie.I can hardly watch it without crying. For three years I had roses and apolligised for no one.I can't even type it without getting sentimental
What do you think?
Every answer is welcome but the bigger the effort, the more I'll apreciate them.

There are so many great parts in that movie.
I think the most amazing part, both emotionally and cinematically, was the part where Stephen Rhea's character [as the 'good' party member] was explaining how he could guess what was going to happen and V was setting up all the dominos. It gives me goose bumps everytime I see it. The dominos are so symbolic and Stephen Rhea's acting is fantastic, and seeing the little girl with the glasses die and people's reaction to it... Its brilliant. Especially the way they show short clips of the beginning, middle, and end of the movie - but so quickly you only get a glimpse.
Another part that always gives me goosebumps is the end, where people take off their Guy Fawkes masks and all the main characters are revealed - even ones that are dead. Its so great.
And onnne more! This is for more personal reasons, but I love when Evie wakes up in V's underground gallery, with the beginning chords of "Cry Me a River". Julie London, who sang the song, was my aunt, so its always very exciting to me to hear that song in one of my favorite movies.
Oh, and if we're talking lines, then my favorite is either "People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people" or "A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having!". Both brilliant.

There are so many good parts. I think for me it is the part when the people march to take back the country and the military realize that they need to stand down. In the crowd you will see some of the characters who have already died too.
As far as speeches I enjoyed:
Creedy: Defiant until the end, huh? You won't cry like him, will you? You're not afraid of death. You're like me.
V: The only thing that you and I have in common, Mr. Creedy, is that we're both about to die.
Creedy: How do you imagine that's gonna happen?
V: With my hands around your neck.
Creedy: Bollocks. Whatchya gonna do, huh? We've swept this place. You've got nothing. Nothing but your bloody knives and your fancy karate gimmicks. We have guns.
V: No, what you have are bullets, and the hope that when your guns are empty I will no longer be standing, because if I am you will all be dead before you've reloaded.

I just watched it and found it superb! WAY better than the comic book. I was a little nervous that the Wachovskis (sp?) were involved because I only liked The Matrix first movie. When The Matrix tried to get too smart, it got stupid (IMHO.)
I don't recall the actual quote you're referring to, but I must say, I liked the ending best of all: it was straight-up Hollywood: the good guys win, the building explodes to raucous classical music and the larger revolution lives on. That was my favorite part - the very end, the music, the images, etc.
I found the aspect of a government-sponsored terror event to get the people in line VERY similar to 9/11 etc.
Also, I liked that V was polite to the woman he killed. "I killed you 10 minutes ago. Will it hurt? No. Would it help to say I'm sorry?" That was some very touching dialogue.
Long Live V!

The movie for me was more confusing than anything else. I did stick with it though and finished it. There were parts where i felt V might be her father, then maybe the one's girlfriend. I did like the part where she read the womans story on the toilet paper. I think the part I like the most was the coroner. She knew her time was coming and she took it with stride for all her wrong doing. She knew she could never make up for what she did, but in her eyes to some degree, her passing would help a little.
I liked how they calmly talked, and she passed quietly. They both sat with each other with the utmost respect when it came her time. No threats, and no whining.
At the end I like how Eevy refered to V as everyone who was ever wronged. I was glad to see the community come together for someone they themselves didn't know.
It had good parts and confusing one's but overall, it wasn't too bad.

I just recently saw the movie and LOVED it! There is so much about the film that is great, but probably the most moving part for me was the end when Evey places the flowers on V, starts the train to blow up Parliament, then they go outside and watch all the people show up to stand up and take back their freedom. V for Vendetta was so original and intelligent - I am definitely going to watch this again (and again!)

I would have to say one of my favorite parts is the very beginning when V comes to the rescue of Evey.
Aside from the whole scene, I particularly liked:
V: Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.
Evey Hammond: Are you like a crazy person?
V: I'm quite sure they will say so.
I also liked the scene in the rain on the balcony..and Evey says "God is in the rain."
And the part at the very end when all the people are converging on Parliament...and you see the aerial shot of all the hundreds of people..and at the very end when they all take off their masks, you see the people who have lost their lives in the fight...i.e. Valerie and her lover, and the little girl with glasses.
I loved the whole movie!

I loved this movie. I think the beginning when 'V' conducts the explosions to the 1812 overture. that song always makes me ball.
I was really moved by the whole imprisonment part, the reading of the story on the toilet paper, you started to realize that it was, 'V' holding her captive. His love for her was expressed so well, even wearing a mask.

The movie instantly became one of my all time favorite. My favorite scene is the final fight with Cready and his men. It's tough though. The political undertones get you thinking about the society we live in. Britain was like Nazi Germany and V was considered a terrorist, even though he was fighting as the good guy. Makes you think.

I can't really pick a favorite part of that movie, all of it... every single bit of it was so well done and just...was magnificent. I loved the music, the actors, setting, plot..
If I had to pick something to be my favorite, I'd honestly have to say it was the main character; V. V is one hell of a character to play and so well done in so many ways.

V's body is riddled with gunfire by Creedy and his men. V bends down low to collect himself. You see a side shot of his chipped mask and you hear breathing that shouldn't exist. "My turn."
