Already did it. Yesterday, my officemate told me about a situation where the grandparents [my age] just got three kids to raise because both parents are in jail [drugs, I think]. So I went through my son's closet last night and brought in a bag of clothes and a bag of toys for those kids. [believe it or not, I have a 5 year old!] Anyway, God bless them. I was happy to do it.

Well as we speak, my coworker is confiding in me about how his wife is a LOSER! I really feel bad for him because he is one of those 'nice' guys who doesnt have the cahone`s to get out of his failing marriage. She is taking advantage of him 95%. Im trying to reassure him that its not him its her & convince him that he IS a good person. He doesnt deserve this from anyone. Im playing counselor basically & it hurts my feelings that he is going thru this. I guess my 'good deed' for him will be prayer.
P.S. Right now he's not talking to me thats why Im answering this! LOL, Im not being rude to him!!

It is a good reminder. I am always so caught out with my life my problems and hardly look around and reach out my hands for others. Does make a friend smile count??

last night on the way to work, a co-worker and friend told me that his grandmother passed away. i know how dear she was to him, so i am going to call a florist and have some flowers and a card sent to his home. i know that it won't ease his pain but i hope it at least comforts him

I'm going to cover some drudgery duties that belong to a work friend who is out sick today. And I'm going to smile and not whine about doing it.

She is so excited.....she wants to surprise her mom with this scrapbook. It is going to be fun as neither of us has ever scrap booked !!!!!

I am about to whip my son's behind if he doesn't stop mouthin' me- that will help him learn respect for his mother. It's a bit mean, but he will thank me when he gets older- does that count?

I can plan to stay home, because if I leave and someone says something that hits that last nerve, only God knows what I will do to them. :)
