We have nouns (sink, tire, lemon) and pronouns (I, you, she) and proper nouns (Bob, Susan, Atlanta), so what are improper nouns?

i hated english back and school and i still do.... lol.... i know how to speak the language but i don't remember all the nouns, pronouns and things like that

I'd never heard of them, but the individual who wrote the somewhat tedious article at the site I've included seems to use the term "improper nouns". However, I haven't had enough coffee yet this morning to read it all carefully. Hopefully it will answer your question. Good luck with it!

Actually the opposite of proper nouns is common nouns - in case you really didn'y know.
