Wow...good question! I've been contemplating this for a while now. The obvious reasons are the cost and technology required, which I don't think they have. If we started a war based on suspicions of weapons of mass destruction (nukes) and we couldn't find ANY, I doubt that it would be possible for them. Don't get me wrong, I believe that there are enough nukes on this planet to totally obliterate the moon to space dust, its just that these guys don't have that power. The other reason is that it would essentially disrupt or end life on earth as we know it. The tides would go haywire and possibly the ocean would swallow up all of the middle east and most of the land on earth. Our entire planet would probably be knocked off its axis and even its very rotation could be affected. I could go on and on with my ramblings, but I think that's enough. Playing a game where EVERYONE dies is probably not a good strategy to win a fight.
And contrary to popular belief, those guys are very intelligent, calculating, and passionate individuals. Just because we think they're crazy doesn't mean they're stupid.

Well miss Twatwaffle (Love the name is that buttermilk or blueberry?) they are too stupid they have a 7th century mentality and would rather worship the moon than blow it up. But the might try if they could build a big enough Katutia Rocket and ship it to Hezbollah or Hamas or Al Quida LOL

Given that most terrorists are Muslims (an assumption on my part), they can't (even if they had the technology).
Muslims use a Lunar calendar. To blow up the moon would screw up their time-keeping.

Because they want to kill as many Americans as they can and there are currently none on the moon. This attitude is part of the problem. NEWS FLASH PEOPLE! They want to KILL us not piss us off.

Not only would it piss us off, it would throw off the orbit of the Earth and kill everyone.
Plus I dont think the United States have enough nukes to do that.
