As far as I know, there is no correlation between braces and acne. Braces can cause sores from irritation in your mouth, but they have no relation to any acne that may be on your face, back, etc.

No, but they may seem like related things because of the timing. Usually when braces are most effective and worn (in your teens) are the same years that acne occurs the most.

They can if they are the kind that makes your skin oily. I dont think those kinds of braces have been approved by the FDA yet though, so good luck finding some.

Umm, no... Acne is caused blockages due to dirt and oil in the pores. Braces are metal suspensions on your teeth.
...I don't see the connection.

nope. it's either the way you eat or what you do to clean your face. if you work out, try not to touch your sweaty face with anything but a clean towel. your pores open up to heat, which makes them more prone to break out. eat healthier foods; chocolate and chips won't help with an acne problem.

no.. i had braces for 5 years and i didnt get one pimple. and i was 10 to 16. the height of pimple season if you will :D
